Distributed Snow Depth: 1998
1998 Basin-wide snowdepth in the Upper Green Lakes Valley was derived from
442 snowdepth sampling measurements taken throughout the basin during a May 17-19, 1998
field sampling routine. Points were geolocated using Differentially Correcting Trimble
Pathfinder GPS units with sub-meter acccuracy. Kriging was the interpolation method
used, where the semivariogram form the sample data indicated a shperical data model.
