On June of this year a valued friend and colleague, Elizabeth Sulzman, passed away.  Over the years, she touched our lives and those of many students in her Principles of Soil Science course at Oregon State University.  As I have the privilege of teaching a parallel course at CU this term, this course is dedicated to her.
