Tips for searching the LTER Site Data Catalogs

If you are having trouble finding matches for a given topic or keyword, be sure to try all possible synonyms. The keywords used in the site catalogs are managed by the individual sites (and often the individual investigators) and are therefore not uniform. See the listing of catalog entries by keywords for a demonstration of all the possible variations. You may also want to make sure that the search is not case sensitive, and that it allows for partial matches and misspellings.
